Jared is the founder and editor-in-chief of Playtonic Dialogues, a blog dedicated to philosophically minded music discussions. His writing about music and philosophy also appears on The Bowery Presents’ House List, Prefix Magazine, and Tiny Mix Tapes, as well as being featured on Brooklyn Vegan and 3 Quarks Daily. He is a dedicated musician, playing guitar and keyboard, and formed the hip-hop collective So Po Sound.

Emily Kropp is a writer and editor living in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently the Managing and Community Editor at StyledOn.com and has written about art, fashion, music and travel for nationally distributed publications including Zink Magazine. Her recent work includes interviews with gallerist Jen Bekman, all-girl pop group The Suzan, and designer Rad Hourani, among others. She has covered New York Fashion Week for the past three seasons and has written album reviews for online and print publications spanning a wide range of genres. A Portland, Oregon native, Emily is currently working on a dissection of hip-hop and rap records from the past 20 years by exploring the musical samples they feature.

Rain Noe : Art & Design

N. Rain Noe is an NYC-based freelance writer, editor for industrial design supersite Core77.com, photography studio manager and vintage sewing machine repairperson. Prior to that he worked as an industrial designer, an ambulance driver, a bartender, a trend forecaster, a martial arts instructor and overseas as a schoolteacher. He credits being able to currently earn a living on the internet as the perfect yin to the yang that is the modern ADHD condition.
